I love reading your TOFW posts Lisa! Thanks for being someone I can look up too, it encourages me to keep believeing and to stay strong in the gospel. Xx
I am really struck by what Elder O'Riordan said about praying for answers. It reminds me of what Laurel Christensen said last year at TOFW about Matthew 7:9-10
"Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?"
Sometimes I am afraid to ask the Lord for certain things; I don't want to seem ungrateful or to second guess what He knows is best for me. Laurel encouraged us to ask the Lord for good gifts. Sometimes He is just waiting for us to ask him. He wants to bless us. I have tried in the last year to have more faith and ask for the righteous blessings I am really hoping for. I know I won't always receive them, or at least not in my own time, but that they will come in the Lord's time.
